Wine Train Experience

New era of wine tourism…

Ktima Palivou, ushering in a new era and aiming to please the visitors who have honored us for so many years with their continuous presence, invites you to a new tasting area.

An old train carriage converted for the most private and luxurious tastings, with its balcony spread out over our vineyard and with a breathtaking view that reaches to Central Greece, awaits you to indulge in a unique wine experience, that will satisfy all of your senses.

Reserve Experience 1

The visit starts with a guided tour in the cellar of the winery.

Afterwards, the visitors arrive on their own vehicle on the top of the vineyard in the wine train area, where our experienced staff will offer 5 characteristic single vineyard labels of the estate, to introduce the greek grape varieties to the visitor. The tasting is accompanied by a charcuterie board created with traditional local cheeses, cold cut meats, fresh and dried fruits, breadsticks and fresh bread, which will complete the tasting.

Reserve Experience 2

The visit starts with a guided tour in the cellar of the winery. Next, the visitors will board in a winery’s vehicle and set off on a drive to Ancient Nemea, both of historical and wine interest. Our tour guide will inform you about the diversity of the soil and the microclimate of the area, the choice of cultivation methods and the great benefits of water in the life of the vines. During the tour, passing by various historical sites, we will also share with you our history, which is rich and completely connected to the vine and wine and constitutes our timeless memory. Last stop will be the highest point of our private owned vineyard, at 500 meters altitude, to our new tasting area. An old train carriage converted for the most private and luxurious experiences. Our experienced staff will offer 6 premium single vineyard labels of the estate, including single varietal or blends of indigenous and locally grown international varieties.
