Vinification

We use special viticulturist techniques, by applying what most modern concerns viticulture, developing Agiorgitiko. 5 days cold maceration at 8 °C and then traditional red vinification using total extraction time at 24 days.

Maturation

14 months in new French oak barrels & Amphorae & 8 months inthe bottle

CHARACTERISTICS

Deep, intense and delightful wine with the characteristics of the variety in exemplary expression. Concentrated yet expressive bouquet of black fruits, black cherries, sour cherries, blackberries in balance with licorice, coffee, hints of vanilla, roasted nuts and chocolate while a little time in the glass will complete the composition with touches of minerality. The mouth is rich with dense, noisy tannins and personality that captivates until the finish that will leave a peppery aftertaste.

ENJOY IT WITH

With hearty dishes such as rabbit stew, braised beef, lamb or eggplant papousaki but also with well-cooked beef cuts.
